Movie Brat

Thick as Thieves is a crime movie directed by Mimi Leder and starring Morgan Freeman as veteran thief Keith Ripley, Antonio Banderas as a Miami cop, Gabriel Martin and Radha Mitchell as Alexandra Korolenko. 

This film is set in New York City, where veteran thief Keith Ripley recruits younger crook Gabriel Martin (Banderas) to help him to finish one final job in order to repay his debt to the Russian mobster. Soon, the identity of Martin is reveled as a Miami cop, who was looking to bring the Ripley to justice by being an undercover thief. 

When Martin gets close with Ripley, he gets a chance to meet Ripley's goddaughter, Alexandra Korolenko. Soon he feels in love with Korolenko, and decides to move with her after his final assignment. In the meanwhile, Russian mobster kidnaps Korolenko and demands two Faberge eggs for her release. When Ripley and Martin get into the vaults of the museum with the eggs, the cop (Martin) takes the eggs and rushes to the Russian mobster to get his lover back. 

Suddenly things started to change, bringing out the truth that Ripley and the Russian mobster are good friends and they knew already that Martin is a cop. Even though they came to know his identity well before, they planned to get the eggs with the help of Martin, so that the robbery can be easily done. It is also revealed to Martin that Korolenko is the daughter of the Russian mobster. Will Martin arrests the gangsters and gets his lover back?
